SD45 physics correction/enhancement?

Have our resident physics experts looked over the DTM SD45 locomotives?

I think these locos could use a make over.

Your right. The models themselves need a makeover, physics, sounds, and textures need to be edited.I can give the SP SD45 a new horn, but someone else will have to do the repainting and the physics.

What's wrong with the textures?

The model has weathering above the trucks but there's shiny all over it,which looks weird.

Maybe all we have to do is darken the alpha to take some of the shine away. I haven't played with this one in a while but I kinda remember that.

I noticed that too, plus there is blue shade all over them:

Are there repaints available? SP's got very grimy in Tehachapi and Donner Pass services.

There's the speed lettered ones over on digirails, which replaces the defaults, but I have made into a separate repaint.
