I hope you used the freeware GP7 to repaint it, it's available right here in the file library.

i do have a question, did you get the autonumbers to work or am i going to have to stick with only 1 loco for the time being?

i wish i had this loco for the screenshot contest!

oh, btw the green does seem a bit off for some reason? i guess it's a similar problem that you have been having with the santa fe locos?

You are correct, the green is a bit off, working on it now... The Autonumber placement issue still exists with the improved model, so it doesn't work right now. Let me explore some more, and I may be able to fix a workaround.

Autonumbering still is not working for this configuration. Files are uploaded to Hawk now.

.......when i load the loco it shows up as the SAL and not the CN loco....this has happened with most of the ATSF locos and one of my BN locos. strangely enough the CB&Q locos work without any problems? I don't have this problem with the F40's so why do i have this problem with the GP7? HELP ME PLEASE !*hp*!

Firstly...

Have you deleted the original GP7 and Installed the "Improved" model?

For reasons unknown the improved model reads the skin data from what should be the bump map file.

Um, there are no bumpmap shaders used on the improved one, unless the April 2011 release version in the library is the old one somehow ( I just reinstalled it to make sure ).

For reasons that I can't fathom, if you delete the 'GP7_body.tgpcdx' file, the improved model doesn't care. You have to have the revised skin in the 'GP7_body_nm.tgpcdx'. !*don-know!*

Safest bet appears to be to have the edited body file in both the 'GP7_Body.TgcPcDx' and 'GP7_Body_nm.TgPcDx' files. That way either the Improved or Earlier models will work.

The frame files are the same situation.

_nm just means "not compressed" vs _nmc for compressed, don't ask me why they named them like that. It doesn't mean normal map like I first thought :P _nmc versions are used for lower detail levels.

I don't have a "GP7_Body.TgcPcDx".

since i installed the CN repaint when i had the original GP-7 installed it screwed up or something like that, so if i re-enstalled the repaint it SHOULD work fine now?
