Alco S2 problems

bak files are just the backup when you make changes in RWTools in case you mess something up and have to go back. They don't do anything other than that so you can either keep them or throw them out as they do nothing to current operation. Us developers try to clean this stuff up but sometimes it gets lost in the shuffle.

I always chuck them away Buzz, I like to keep a clean, mean, fighting machine......

I also had the problem but didn't know it as I only got around to installing the pack today... ...it took a (small) bit of digging to find the fix here and thank you for it as this is a really nice piece of work!!! For real.... amazing... A payware quality product freely given... I am very grateful!

It's good news to hear all that had issues ( so far ) got a " fixed it " result. Thank you for reporting back with this info which at this stage suggests the fix works.
I know what I did to correct the problem, but as to why it happened and how..... .......but most important of all why it affected only a handful out of 600 downloads has me gob smacked.
As far as what will be done with this fix for future down loaders, that's a decision for the author Rich.

I'd also like to say thanks for reporting back. And of course, thanks to qrfan3 for the fix.

As to a revision in the package, I'll go on the advice of the moderators. It seems like only a few had to deal with the bug, so far, and the fix works.

Thank Goodness I found this thread. I have some ERIE, DL&W and EL S2s in the paint shop. The fix worked. They Look Awesome
