Take a look to the maximum tractive effort of the SD75M (23% higher than GE C44-9W), indicated in this site: *!rolleyes!*

The manual says that 1KW = 1.341Hp. So if want 4300Hp put 3200KW in this field not the horsepower of the engine.

Just to clarify:

In the simulation.bin file, change 4300 to 3200KW or 3200 without KW? And do capital letters matter?

You don't need the capital letters. I believe that the max power line is in units of kilowatts in the bin file. Some are under the opinion that it's in units of horsepower in the bin file.

From the developer docs it says that its in kilowatts. After talking with some folks the dcsv files are what matters and as long as the data in the bin file is higher than the dcsv file it should be fine i think !*don-know!*

Seems like you're cramming for a mod for this DLC.... Give me to the end of the week; one will be pumped out.

Let me very honest here - the SD75 is quite broken ever since TS2015 came out. I took note that the headlights are quite broken, and poor physics and sounds as well.

FanRailer, thanks a lot for taking the initiative on an SD75 physics mod; are you willing to do physics mods for all the other ES44s and Sherman Hill SD70M?

Again, I've said that the Sherman Hill units run into problems when you try to modify the .bin files. I can look into it again, since the content was refreshed with TS2016, but no guarantees.

It may be in very good interest to do physics for the other freight offerings like the Dash 9 pack, UP Heritage SD70ACes, NS Heritage ES44ACs, NS Coal ES44AC, Canadian Mtn Pass ES44AC, BNSF H2 ES44DC, and CSX ES44AH.

I noticed there is a problem with the headlights. Whenever the light facing the engine direction is turned on, the ground illumination appears for the opposite direction. This DLC has been pretty bugged like that ever since TS2015 came out and allowed for more headlight configurations on the HUD.

I also thought it would be cool to add in the new EMD 710G3C sounds included with the Sherman Hill SD70M if they can be coded into the proxyxml.

I fixed the headlight and sent it over to fanrailer to be included it will be added to the current release and reuploaded. As for the sounds, I understand what you want but when releasing these mods we have to make sure that everyone can use them. If we included sound mods for packs that people don't have then the whole mod is useless to them. If you have the updated SD70M in sherman hill then you can easily point the sections in the bin files pertaining to sound to that SD70M. Sorry we can't be more help since we want everyone to enjoy the mods.

The newer DTG releases have two proxyxmls for the exterior sounds, one for solely the engine sounds and another for the air, brake, and compressor noises. If I have it point to the SH SD70M sounds, then the air brake and compressor sounds won't be heard as there is no code in.

Also interested to know if physics and brake fix packs for the remaining uncovered ES44 diesels. EmissionGaming has also noted broken brakes on the Soldier Summit F40PH, has that and the original F40PH pack received the brake fix?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nX7OgrtI8Bk

Short answer: I don't know what's planned.

John,
The brakes that FanRailer refers to and that you are providing are the dynamics?
