Unfortunately, Krellnut sounds aren't default. Though freeware, not every player has them installed.
Are Kuju sounds still installed by default? Don't they come with the US Assets pack? In that case, use Academy, as that is default for all new versions of TS.

Is it possible to put the Academy references in the blueprint and when the player has the Krellnut sounds, the Krellnut proxyxml is put into the Academy folder?
That way, the cars have default sound, but that sound can be enhanced significantly when the player decides to install the Krellnut package. Assuming the Krellnut proxyxml overwrites the Academy one?

Are the Academy sounds only used by Academy vehicles? I've never had the desire to enroll in TS Academy *!embar*! .

Uh, yes they are. With the release of TS2016, US Freight Car Sounds 2015 are a core part of the game now. The pack is installed in Sherman Hill. DTG requested that I leave the pack for download even though they purchased it, very kind on their part.

Okay, and well done from your part. !!*ok*!!

Now, that means that all players can alias to your sounds through the Sherman Hill proxyxml files?
Does this mean the download from RWA is no longer needed?
Will you provide some instructions or a small rwp with the necessary files to replace the Krellnut provider with RSC/Sherman Hill?

Perhaps a separate posting is best so as not to spoil Dan's thread.

These cars look great Dan! What are the loaded and empty weights that you chose?

I'm using an empty wight of 30 tonnes and a loaded wt of 100. Most of the time the lt wt was listed as 63xxx lbs and the ld lim was 199xxx. So converting to long tons as the sim likes gevs me about 27 and 117 tonnes, so 30 and 100 sounded fine. Going to do some more tests with a braking percentage of 13 for a load and 40% as an empty and see where that puts me. Hope to up load soon.
