Is there any other way to get 2.6x IA/IGS Exporter ?

I have decided it is time to start building some items for this program. But I can not download anything from the UK trainsim site. No amount out of new usernames or passwords will work. And I have read that contacting admin is a dead cause. I have done a search,and I see one available in another language. Are there any alternatives? Also,which version of Blender is the best to use? Hi mate...

Umless you have a pay subscription, you do have to be patient. I have found that on the infrequent occasions I did want something from there, it can take up to an hour or so, just to get to the front of the download queue and then wait an eternity for the file to actually download because of the "drinking straw" download pipe for us non paying leeches as compared to a regular firehose. Just keep refreshing the download page, I have never found it not working.

I can not login,anyway,anyhow. That is the problem. I do remember it takes a long time once you are inline. I have tried it with Firefox and IE,same results. I may just have to go with the French Version.

The exporter at the French site is the same one as at UKTS. It is where I got mine:

I assumed it is the same,I just was not sure if the install is easily deciphered. But my daughter is learning French,so I am certain it will go fine. As far as Blender goes,I know there are newer releases. Is there a recommendation?

There is no French involved, there is English documentation.
