Question: Why would you not like it to be included with 2016?

He's probably assuming it would take the place of something else?

Most American users would already have Sherman Hill by the time they upgrade to TS2016. The Riviera Line is already in a freeware 50s era so i feel it wasn't really worth developing as a brand new DLC route.

Actually I find this to be a rather nice edition. Even though the route came with an older version it will allow new players who get the simulator to enjoy the route for the first time. I already own the route, so if I were to get the new version it would be to get the Big Blow and the two new routes and locos. I have no gripes for this news.

I doubt that many newer users have Sherman Hill since it gets little play in most forums and such, however time will tell.

You also have to remember these yearly iterations are largely to attract new players. The turbine engine will have a good bit of appeal for people who don't have the game, hence why Sherman hill is back again.

One of my things is the Britsh steam route. DTG is building a route similar to a freeware route by DPSimulation, but doesn't require a lot of pay ware.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the reason why something like Sherman is being included again is because Dovetail might be starting to devote more time and focus to the development of their UE4 train-Sim?

Take a look at the most recent "trailer" for TS2016. ( https://video-mxp1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hvide ... e=55CB5E59 ) The route in use with all that snow flying and even sticking to the engine's windshield (but, sadly, not to any other surface of the train) sure looks like Sherman Hill to me, so I'm guessing that SH will be included with the new package because it's their test route for these new weather effects. Who knows "weather" SH will be updated for those of us who accept the upgrade to 16 without buying the package? (That's a rhetorical question, folks.)

Preview, not advance preview (despite what they might call it).

Twitch stream is active: http://www.twitch.tv/dovetailgames

I am impressed with the BR155 sounds. I believe they were supplied by VirtualRailroads which I think were also used on the DR BR243 Expert-Line.

Sherman Hill is included because we wanted to make the Turbine and that was the best route for it.

Has the route been updated at all, or is it the same version we have now?
