Just a few more shots of 700. The scenarios will require the following DLC:

payware:
Marias Pass
GN F7 Empire Builder
SP&S E-1
Dash 9
EDIT: Classic US assets (if you've played Train Simulator since 2012 you should already have it. If you started playing Train Simulator after 2012, you may need to get it from the steam store - it's not expensive **!!2cents!!** )

freeware:
GreatNortherner's GN Rolling Stock Pack (Boxcars, Gondolas, Ore Hoppers, and Flat Cars)
Great Northerner's 55t and 70t Offset-Side Hoppers
GreatNortherner's NP 40ft Icebox Reefer Pack
G-Trax's lightweight 4-pack

And it's almost done. Scenario #2 is finished, now time to work on scenario #3.

I could. I would make it act like a GN S-1, though.

The 3rd and final scenario of 700 and the Empire Builder is well on its way. At the same time I haven't forgotten about heavy haul steam freights *!!wink!!*

I'm going to see how far I can push the E-1s. Based on some numbers I've crunched I'm going to guess that I can take a train of 2567t., dry track, up the east slope of Marias Pass (Glacier Park - Summit). Using the same method of number crunching I've settled on a tonnage rating of 1234t. up the west slope of Marias Pass (Essex-Summit). I've already taken a train of 2195t. up the east slope in a snowstorm and made it up to the top. Let's see if it can handle a bit more...

Fine thanks. I just need to finish up scenario 3. I just started a summer course to make sure that I stay on track with my credits, which has slowed the process slightly, but it's not nearly as bad as during a regular semester *!greengrin!* . Because of this, I have decided that finish scenario 3 and then submit the mod for publication rather than make you guys wait for more scenarios. The screenshots of 701 are for another scenario I was planning but it will be released later independently in the scenario section of the library. Requirements to play the scenario will be listed in the readme file once it's done.

I appreciate your guys' patience.

It's been awhile since I've been able to sit down and do some serious work mod-wise - some class work, teaching private cello lessons, having to go back to see the folks for one reason or another on average once every week-and-a-half, etc. just life simply. However the time I have been able to spend with the mods has been most enlightening.

For example, who knew that in Math 100 we would cover exponential functions, and how to define them given 2 points on a graph? Using that skill just over the last couple of days I've been re-constructing power curves with exponential functions for the Berks, the Kanawhas, E-1s, K4s, Big Boy, Cab Forward, and pretty soon the Challenger, the Pierre-Marquette Berks and the Erie Berks.

Class lets out on thursdays and doesn't meet again until mondays, meaning that I always have 3-day weekend. I'm going to make the final push to get the SP&S E-1 mod and scenarios done over the weekend and (hopefully bar life) I'll be able to get it into the library soon.

BTW - I think I found a way to get the NKP berkshire around Horseshoe Curve with 759's 1150-ton train without fudging the tractive effort and I am legitimately excited to develop the next stage of that mod! *!greengrin!*

Again I am so sorry that this is taking so long - life just keeps happening.

As of 2:00pm today scenario #3, the final scenario I'll include with the SP&S E-1 mod v2.0, is about 60% finished. The schedule for the player train has been set, the AI trains are running, idle consists are in place, and so far things are running smoothly. I'll finish the last 3rd of the scenario, the scripting, most definitely sometime within the next week.

Thanks TheOldDessauer. That makes me feel better about my lack of mod progress lately :D

Well, the physics mod has now been submitted, and hopefully should appear in the library soon.
