Looks very nice! The whole model looks great, but I can't help noticing how far the front buffer beam sticks out in relation to the boiler.I know that it may be prototypically correct on some Shays (and that it is still very much so a work in progress model), but I have never seen that on a Shay before (I may be not well researched :P). Now, all it needs is some narrow gauge rolling stock and a Class B and C version (since I noticed it was a Class A Shay)! Great work!

It will be nice to have a NG locomotive other than K-27 #454, looking good so far Dick.

Oh goody!

This'll be 3 foot gauge, Dick? I think that's Silverton in the picture...

Pennies being set aside now.

Kind regards,

New pictures looks great. Just wondering, are you planning any other geared locomotive releases in the future, such as the Climax, Heisler, and Willamette?

As you see the A class has grown into a B class and I have now got some log cars. The old A class will be shrunk a bit and be turned into a wood burner with the typical spark arrestor stack. As to other geared locos, I'm not sure. Let me get 3ft gauge out of my system first. *!lol!*

One question; how were you able to do the lettering on the side of the tender? I haven't figured that out yet

The next development, a caboose and some flat cars. They are out of view at the end of the train.

The lettering on the tender are part of my numbering system. by default the shay is set at x1xxx1xxXx1xx

The loco in this picture is set at x8xxx8xxRx8xx
Thr Rio Grande logo is new to this model. Try an r (lower case) at the same position and see what you get. !*YAAA*!

These models are looking better and better, Dick.

Is it true that you're planning to give us 50 grades of Shay?

I'll be your first customer! Been waiting for an engine like this to continue with my Cimarron & Pacific. Any plans to make narrow gauge ore and/or coal cars also?
