Personally, I would have stopped at three. Your choice of course, but this severely limits the folks who can enjoy your route.

I was being funny and serious at the same time.
Me and my friends used to sit right in the Beer and Pizza Zone for hours on end.
The "derailment zone" has truly been a problem for W.P. and S.P. then U.P. for years. What's not shown on those screen shots, is the tight S curve there that long intermodal cars have to negotiate.

The "diving platform" bridge is used by local kids in the summer. They sit there and wait for a train to come, then while the engineer is having a heart attack and madly blowing the horn, the kids drop off into Alameda Creek at the last second, while letting out blood curdling screams. (I think that line on the bridge isn't so busy anymore, that U.P. has almost abandoned it)

Oh the memories. !*roll-laugh*!

That bridge is still busy, just not as much as when you and I were kids. Capital Corridor runs over it. BNSF use to, but its been awhile since I last saw one there. UP still runs short freight and automotive wagons (though I am wonder what Tesla is doing with them), between Amtrak runs.

I will pull out the Dam tomorrow. These shots were taken before I read your post. Sorry about the number of routes like I have said before. If I make another route I will cut down on the amount on that one. I have started this route from scratch twice now so it just has to stay the way it is now sorry about that.

I just so happen to have all the payware, minus the 3d trees and scale road, which it seems for RWA, is needed for most routes on here that folks do 3rd party.

Nice to hear 3d train assets don't cost alot. He has sales at times go to his site and check his assets out. It will be well worth your money. His newest 3d trees are great i use them alot because they make my routes come alive. They do take a hit on your graphics card more than the 2d trees but it makes the route look better. If you have a decent graphics card then you should be fine.

Yes and the freeware versions are actually easier on the GPU and CPU while still looking very good. So if a person want's to run a route with 3D trains assets but they have a low end PC, they'd be better off with the freeware version anyhow.
They can be used in place of the payware 3D assets because the file names are the same... (That's the way I remember it)

Hack what about your new 3d trees do you have a free version of that for people to try first. I use a lot of them in my route. I am finishing up at the Niles Junction area. I don't plan on doing all of the scenery much past that spot. This route is the Scenic Railroad Route Niles Canyon Railroad. I put in the Union Pacific side because I was asked to do that. I will continue to finish up around Niles and then head my way back to Sunol. Once I release this route to whoever wants it. Then once everyone has it if they want to extend it on there own that will be up to them. I wanted to do the Niles Junction area because if you are going to run the Union Pacific side you need a starting point. And beside it makes for great video making. I am uploading two right now when they are ready I will post them here.

Here are the two videos. The first one ends in a derailment because I did not have enough track laid for the train to run fully. I did that last night. The second one is from today. https://youtu.be/ce8fg1c2CFc https://youtu.be/9d6i043787A

Here are some screen shots of the area around the Niles Junction that I will fill in with scenery. Past the X I will not fill in with scenery. If you continue along that piece of track it will lead you to the Fremont Amtrak Train Station. Once I release this route if anyone wants to continue it to there then it will be up to them to continue it any further.

The 3D trees are part of a bonus offering to those that purchase one of the scenery packs (Rural or World Landscapes).

I have finished with what I am going to do with the route for now. I will continue it in the future but not for a while. I am looking for someone that has all of the payware assets that I am using and a decent computer similar to mine. Look over my posts you will see what you will need for the route. I will send that person the freeware assets they will need to run the route. I want to have a tester before I decide to put this route up for downloading. Like I have said please go over my past posts and make sure you have what you need. PM me and I will pick one person to test it. I have asked others like some of the main people here but they have other projects that they are working on and they don't have the time right now. I really only want to use one person like I have said for testing it. I will tell everyone here that I have found someone. If my route run fine on there system then I will ask if I can put it up here on Railworks America for everyone that wants to download it can.

I have a tester for the route waiting for his response on the route. I will let everyone know what he finds when he runs the route. Then I will decide if I am going to post it here on Railworks America.

I should have taken more shots, but I didn't think of it at the time.
