Presenting! The Sacramento Southern Railway!

Presenting the Sacramento Southern Railway!

The Sacramento Southern Railway, a toruist railway in Sacramento CA. Is about 6 miles long and runs in between I-5 And The Sacramento River. The Sacramento Southern Is connected to the California State Railroad Museum, one of the best railway museums west of Chicago. With Attractions such as one of the last Original Santa-Fe Railway F-3 Number 347C, And a matching b-unit 347B. Also Starring The LAST Southern Pacific Cab Forward Still Around, #4294. Locomotives from the rail museum also run on the line, Like Southern Pacific E-9 6501 and Western Pacific F-7 913 which is not number 913 which was scraped after a crash.

Now Coming soon to Rail works this line that has exploded the minds of kids everywere. The Sacramento Southern!


p.s i might need some help repainting equipment for the line, and some custom scenery objects! !DUH!

I see you have listed an SW1 as a locomotive that needs to be repainted, unfortunately there are no SW1s available at the moment.

So far for the route you will need sherman hill, and the pacific surfliner, or intil i can find a custom freeware turntable. The tracks might go to scalerail freeware. as for the locomotives *about 6 of them* will need to be painted by a very nice railworks america modder. i also need to get into 3d modeling as there is about 7 buildings that need to be custom made, unless there is 3d modeler that can help me with this. i also need to get passenger cars painted for it as well.

How on earth could a SW1 be subbed by a 1500?

I think MadMike already pained the E8. It would be up in the library.

The WP may also be up there.

You should look at Britkits SW9. Its fairly easy to repaint.

The tools are free, and there are several tutorials. I encourage you to try. It can be quite rewarding.
