Nothing to be sorry for. Your time is obviously full right now. It's a lot more important than the hobby.

You hit the nail on the head Buzz. TS is my hobby and life tends to get in the way, but you can be sure it's the first hobby I pick back up when time permits.

Sounds like me when I was doing my BSc in Biochemistry!
Except I didn't have a job on top of it. I don't know how you manage that.

Folks, pleae stop asking for updates.
Any update, about anything.

The short answer is no. The long answer is I've spent about a month writing a 10 page paper on Targeted Treatments for Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinomas and then spent a week preparing a 12 minute presentation which I delivered today and now have to write a paper for another class that's due next week and get to follow that up with an exam in Molecular Genetics. Then it's Thanksgiving and then studying for finals and then it's Christmas with the family.

And I'm working 35 hours a week on top of my 16 credit hours of class and the 10-20 hours of homework and studying per week while working on applications for pharmacy schools. Sorry fellas but progress will most likely be nil until after Christmas at the soonest as my life is rather full at the moment. !**duh*!!

I'm right there with you. College is taking a lot of time.
And I have not started my diesel classes yet...

Hey everyone,

It's been awhile but work continues on the route. The town of Callahan is just about complete with some small tweaks and gaps to fill in. Scenery has been completed from Folkston down to the South Hilliard crossover and then a gap down to Callahan. The scenery north from Folkston to Waycross will go much quicker as it's all pine and scrub forests but I want to finish south to Jacksonville first.

Would people be interested in the addition of Duval yard to the route? It's the Jacksonville intermodal terminal and it's about two miles east of Dinsmore. The route will function just fine without it but having it would be more prototypical to terminate the UPS hot trains into the terminal. I'm leaning towards including it but I won't spend the time if no one will use it.

I leave you with some screenshots of Callahan:
