Haven't posted a Redial Engine is a while. Since then we've acquired the BTR. Nathan's (5292nate) fictional railway.

There's a couple of surprises in there I have not released yet. Bonus points to whoever points them out. !*cheers*!

Carolina Southern Leasing System's newest additions to their roster.

They ordered 22 EMD SD40L-2s. 21 of them numbered 3600-3620. One reserved as a heritage unit.

#3601 is an example of the Standard Paint.

Out of boredom I've decided to show you how I generally piece together some of my drawings. This one being the BTR U36B based on the D&H scheme.

Generally, I set ITunes to repeat when working on these, the repetitiveness keeps me going for some reason. If anybody wants to know the song I listened to while working on this, feel free to PM me and I'll send you a link to it on YouTube.

Phase 1: Due to the light grey being rather difficult to distinguish from white, I use my MRSY paint to allow me to easily see what I'm doing.
Image

Phase 2: After removing the MRSY scheme, I start work on the cab.
Image

Phase 3: Paint some underlining areas around the cab.
Image

Phase 4: Add scheme details.
Image

Phase 5: Add the blue above the bolt.
Image

Phase 6: Finish coloring the long hood.
Image

Phase 7: Color the front trucks.
Image

Phase 8: Color the fuel tank.
Image

Phase 9: Color the rear trucks.
Image

Phase 10: Add remaining logos.
