DANGER: TROJAN ON STEAM

If a friend gives you a link to a site that starts as "http://captures-web" and ends with "screenshot.png", DO NOT CLICK THE LINK. If you do, a file will download and the link will be sent by you unintentionally to a bunch of people on steam. Not sure what else it does. I've seen the link posted with my account on profile pages of people who I am not even friends with on Steam. !*don-know!* I've seen the link all over Steam this afternoon. !*not-ok*! *!embar*!

Yes this TRUE, The link was sent to me by multiple people I don't know and it was sent to me by JohnTrainHead and he told me he didn't send it. DONT CLICK IT

Apparently this scam is not new; I saw the link on someone's profile and it was posted back around the Winter Solstice. Now I've gotta get back to figuring out how to unlock my steam account. *!rolleyes!*

I got the link in a Steam PM by JohnTrainHead, and BitDefender refused to allow me to go there.
I highly recommend BitDefender anti-malware.

Yup I got that too from my profile. I deleted immediatly plus I notified on Facebook and my friends on twitch. I always like to keep them up to date.

Unlocked? Did they change your password?
If so try the Forgot password functions and see if that will get you back on.

I've gotten one of those messages so far, but I didn't open it.
