Thanks for the reminder. yes, I've run the win7 updater and my hdwe will support 64 bit. the hardest part will be having to reinstall everything....

The OP is coming from Windows XP 32-bit, IMO he would be wise to perform a clean install of everything.

Yes however ther are many things that he could place on another drive and then just dump back in after the "clean install".
