I'm looking forward to this - a bit of whimsy away from the usual mix. Their Christmas route last year was excellent and a great deal of fun (and some sections were surprisingly tricky.

Thanks for the comments on last years Christmas route, it was something I really thought would work. That room has lots of my artwork and even a photo of me as a kid in it, Not sure about my route building though!

Still makes you wonder what's next this year...

Hi,

Just picked it up last night -- and am absolutely loving it!!! !!*ok*!!

It's a lot fun and looks great too (fantastic modeling, atmospheric/spooky lighting) and I think the concept behind it is just brilliant.

Cheers

Anyone else having trouble completing the first scenario? I think it might be a bug; either that, or I don't know what I'm doing wrong lol

I had no problems with any of the scenarios. Highly suggest anyone who hasn't run them to do them in order :D

1 or 2 products a year we get to have some fun, muhahahahhah :)

Nice job Derek and the rest of the DTG team! I decided to suspend my "serious" rail simming for a few days and give this route a try. I'm glad I did! It is a lot of fun. !!*ok*!!
I'm amazed at the various lighting effects, nice touch on the loco smoke :D , and so many other things. Very cool game! !*brav*!

Happy Halloween! !*cheers*!

Hi,
I have passed on your kind words to the guys who made it (Skyhook and DTG scenario writers), they are new developers who just so happen to be 2 of my longest, closest friends. Many moons ago we all worked together as we started out in 95/96. They come to our world with no baggage which is wonderful, they just want to make great stuff that people want.

Look out for their more traditional subject matter in the near future.

regards
Derek

I picked it up yesterday and it is a nice addition to my virtual train collection. The scream that was used as the whistle/horn was a nice touch in addition to the other sounds that was used in the creation of it.

Funnily enough, this may also have one of the best and most accessible demonstrations of a 'marshalling' scenario. Really nicely done.
