BNSF SD75I Repaint into BNSF H2

Unread postby ColoradoRailfan » Tue Jul 22, 2014 11:36 am

Could anyone please give a try to repaint the BNSF SD75I into the BNSF H2 Scheme like on the MACs?

People in the past tried repainting the SD75I but couldn't get it finished, its one of the odd repaints RSC did where they made a few parts impossible to find and it drives repainters crazy! Maybe someone would be up for the challenge again? !*don-know!*

I always wondered why nobody had made a CN repaint of it. Thanks for the info.

Well, then again, if we cant do that, why not do it on the SD70MAC? !*don-know!*

Well mainly because there are exterior differences on them such as radiator fan locationsaand cab interiors.

Also because the SD70MAC Model has a High Headlight, and the 75I has a Nose Headlight.

Well, i know that. but we might HAVE to do it with the MAC if we are desperate.

Even though I swore I wasn't going to go into this thread anymore I am one of the people who tried to paint this mess. I think with this particular paint scheme you might have success since it's basically one color and the lines are all horizontal. It was the CN paint schemes with it's angled colors that weren't allowed due to the mapping.

That 8800 you posted is an SD70MAC. SD75s are 8200/200s.

Ok, but we can easily change numbers when we are in the scenario editor. Or when we are repainting.

But an SD75I/M has major external and performance differences from a SD70MAC...
