Just give him the folder structure and the name of the audio file and he'll simply have his own overwrite the DTG one. I'm sure he's not trying to steal their sounds anyway. Too much energy is drawn up over something so provincial. There's no issue Dtg isn't going to cry foul. I'll bet the farm nothing has changed in the MON audio file anyway. But if it makes everyone happy just give him the folder structure.

Africa can wait for a sale however this one I had to buy on release date. I was wondering how they would market the SD-40 Long add on - I didn't think I would buy it but to add it on for $8 is reasonable and about the only way I would have bought it. Hopefully I can find some time this weekend to give it a try.

I think that coal hoppers in this route don't differ too much from hoppers in Sherman Hill or other route (just different texture)
If so, sound files are basically the same.

Not sure about that, they look like better detailed new models to me. The shape file is larger than the default Kuju. It is supposed to be a 113 ton capacity gondola, I think.
They are very wobbly and when pushed hard in a long train, lean left and right. Wasn't that a physics problem with the old Kuju gons also?

It's well worth the money, great route.

Meaning? Answer to my question re: wobbly Kuju physics?

RSC/DTG never learn apparently. Some stock has good couplers, others elastic bands.
Back to kitbashing also. The .ap files contain junk like .cost and .tgt files. Sloppy!
To keep the asset packs intact, I've created a RailVehicles folder, and copied my favourite strong couplers folder into that. Job done quick and easy!

There are no scenarios supplied with the Dash9?
The ES44AS and Dash9 don't have fancy alerters but have the same scripted brakes, without indicators in the HUD.
The ShowControlStatDialog window has new control values prefixed with an "a" for the brakes parameters, these probably aren't picked up by the game engine.

Certainly, but it does look a litle lifeless.

Here is what Thomas Bontempo did in Brownsville, Pa.

Lots of chances for route modders to put some people and cars in the streets, decorate the front gardens, etc.

Are the Covered hopper, double door box car and low gondolas included with the route itself or just with the SD40 pack? I'm just wondering because I don't really want to get the SD40, but I will if the route doesn't include the cars as well.

Yes, the cars you mention are included with the SD40-2 LHF exclusively. The route only comes with the coal gondola. Both assets have a EOTD.

What's the first thing I did? Create a free roam. Come on DTG. Get a clue. A lot of us want to explore before we start running scenarios.

Isn't that what Quick Drive is? A replacement for a freeroam? I still have not tried to do a quick drive, so I am speculating here.

Here is a standard scenario using the Dash9 40CW I copied from a career scenario. These old models don't have the fancy scripted ditch lights and brakes the ES44 and SD40-2 LHF have been given.
