I'm still very much around everybody.

I may not post much but I'm still active in the community. As Marc mentioned above, I'm currently working on the RCAP project.
Now that that cat is out of the bag, I think it's time to clear the air regarding the Willamette Pass route and the New River Districts route.

The NS New River Districts was lost when my former hard drive was converted into a piece of burnt toast about six months ago. I never made a proper back-up of that route so poof!... My assets for that route survived ONLY because I uploaded most of them to the File Library ::whew..:: As a matter of fact, I had to download my own assets from the File Library to get them back. *!rolleyes!*

As for the Willamette Pass route? The route is too old.
Willamette Pass is about six years old now. It was started under the original Rail Simulator back in 2007. The game has been through so many changes since then. In order for me to take full advantage of the current game and it's features I would have to start this route again from scratch. Something that I'm not prepared to do at this time.

I may take up route building again in the future but, for right now, I'm content to engage with the community through my work on RCAP.
The word?..The word is no. I am, therefore, going anyway..

Thanks for all of these great assets you made for us! Whatever you want to do is up to you, I just thought that you had went over to another Sim like some other of our talented creators went. **!!bow!!** !*cheers*!

Nope - PapaXpress had him kicking and screaming as he pulled him through the door and locked it, quickly hid the key, and has been feeding John cookies through a small opening ever since. :D
Cheers!

John, are all of the assets you created available somewhere? Are they in the RCAP (and I haven't spotted them yet)? In particular, the multi-lane roads, the iron pedestrian bridge and the rural mailbox?

Tori

p.s. Sad about the W. Pass route; would love to have driven that big switchback with all the tunnels
p.s.s. Now I know where that Roanoke Star model came from! Very cool.

The assets from the NS NRD are currently being reworked and will eventually make it into the pack as well as some new ones I have under my hat.

Time for a cookie break.

I have the route and just ran it and never saw a milk bottle. Just a FYI.

Just because the route has become outdated does not mean it can't be used. I have seen it and it looks fantastic, but never have gotten the chance to run the thing. Do you think you could upload what you have done here on RWA so guys like me can take advantage of the great work you've done on it?

I'm from Oregon and would love to have this route. Where is it?

On a different matter, I have recently been tweaking around with this route, adding both quick drive, speed limit signs, speed limit fixes, and markers to the sidings around the route. With permission, I would like to eventually release these updates, along with the entire route here at RWA. I have not extended the scenery on the route; so quick drive will only allow you to travel between Klamath Falls and Callimus, a distance of around 30 - 40 miles. I might see if I can get the new TSX weather effects into the route as well.
