I made a sped-up video of the full run from NYC Penn to NH, if anyone is interested. Don't mind my choice of music or haphazard driving.

The Content ID system Youtube uses can block a video that has third-party content (Like a song, in this case) for certain devices or for certain countries (Germany in particular), but allow it to be seen on other devices.
So if you're a Mobile user in Germany, you probably won't have a fun time trying to browse Youtube. . .

In my video manager I've acknowledged the song and it doesn't say it's blocked in any other countries (It normally does). Which means this is probably an issue on mobile devices only.

Edit: if anyone is really desperate enough to see the video I can upload one without sound.

Nice video. It's a nice preview of the route.

BTW....other than sharing the "four on the floor" bass drum pattern of disco, it's not disco. Certainly not the cliche, bouncy, bass guitar octave notes of disco.

What other route is this similar to in the framerate department? MP. SP, DP, SL? *!question!*

This route is the most problems I've had with FPS. Granted, the problems aren't bad, but sometimes running near Sunnyside or anywhere in NY with the new locomotive provokes a significant drop. I'd say a bit worse than SL for a few sections, but once you get out of NY, the frames are the same as any other route.

I stayed at about 15 FPS while recording that video, but there's a few noticeable drops to about 8 FPS at Sunnyside, inside Penn Station and and the CSX Bronx yard (I forgot the name)
I think the drop at the CSX yard was caused by the lights on the engines, so I can't really fault the route for that one.

When I'm not recording I get about 25 FPS, about the same as the last NEC. On an average route, I generally get about 40-60 FPS depending on what time of day/how many other trains are on the route/the detail of the route.
The closest equivalent in terms of detail I can think of would be Pacific Surfliner, and I get about 30 FPS constantly there.

When I'm not recording I get about 25 FPS,.....

Sure, it's obvious.
Note that the video recording programs also consume significant pc resources.

How do you turn off the alerter in the ACS-64/ HHP-8. Q isn't working for me it only stops it for a split second then comes right back on, until eventually i get the emergency brake. Which in the ACS-64 i can't reset. I've tryed Cntl d also which us doing absolutely nothing. This hasnt been a problem that I've noticed on NY-NH, This keeps happening to me on the old NEC at Zoo interlocking

ctrl-d is the ACS, ctrl-f for the alerter.
