Well done, that's quite a big step forward! Actually, just getting a model to snap onto the tracks and not fly into the air is quite a big step - it took me many goes at it the first time I tried.

Ok I have a question about the door indicators on the the M-8s. Are they setup the same way as the M7s or M-1,M-2s? Or is the system completely different?

I'm curious as to what would happen if DTG was also developing this in tandem with your development.
EDIT: speak of the devil...

Just saw this on Facebook.
I know all too well the feeling when you've worked hard on something to find out DTG is doing the same.

Doesn't mean there is a reason to stop just because someone else is doing it. It just gives the user more than one choice to choose. But yea I know that feeling as well. Sometimes you have to ask "Whats the point?"

Anyway work shall continue.

The point is you are going to provide the community a nice piece of freeware something you obviously believe in and can be proud of creating.

And that's the right spirit to have. Besides, I have doubts as to how the sound quality for the DTG version will fair. I'm curious to see if a third party release will be better in that aspect.

To be honest, I've been thinking that this M8 is the same shown on DTG's facebook page.
Continue with it, I guess people will support You.
