Matthew, you probably know this, but in the world editor you can hide certain objects that are not needed for your work. For example, these huge sound gizmos and sound domes that are kinda blocking the view.

Also, what are you doing for backups and versioning?

Losing hundreds of hours of work to a technical glitch is incredibly sad.
This has happened to people here.

It is important to take frequent backups of your whole route folder on an external hard disk.
It is easy: copy and paste the folder using Windows Explorer. Then go eat or sleep while the files get copied over.

Versioning: don't have just one backup, keep a few.
So that you could take a backup now and call it "My Route 2014-03-14 02:26", and tomorrow afternoon, after working for a few hours, you could save a new one as "2014-03-14 13:34". In case of problems, you can revert back to the most recent backup, and if that fails, revert back to the next one.

Also, if you have several copies, you can go back in time to fix a specific problem. Let's say you have deleted something important without noticing, 5 days ago. You can go back to a backup from 6 days ago and bring back a particular tile, or blueprint, or asset, without losing 5 days of work on the whole route.

I have about 100 hours and my CSX Chicago main line keeps crashing when I go to build on it. It won't even load HELP HELP HELP!!!
I don't know what to do. I want to CRY!! It was coming along so good PLEASE HELP!!!

WOW! Mike. Just watched the part 4 video. That looks great! I didn't see an answer to the earlier question of what DLC you based this route on? I'd love to try something like this, but I still have a lot of learning to do. I live up in the Adirondacks, and it's cool to see some Upstate routes. I've run a couple of scenarios on the Raquette Lake Railway, and would love to build the Adirondack Scenic Railway. (Someday)

Anyway, I look forward to your progress!

I still need MAJOR HELP WITH SIGNALS! I have watched alot of tutorials on signaling including the ones here. I just think the signaling is a little more complex on my route. I can get a crossover or junction but as far as signaling the yard or more than 2 tracks I get really lost.

HELP PLEASE!! If you have the time and want to help just let me know>

Here is a link to a beta copy. Looking for people that know how to build the track signals. I am very lost at it. I have watched a ton of tutorials on how to do i but I still can't figure it out. So if anyone is willing to help(IT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP!!) to do just the track signals I will finish laying the rest of the track and give you the route to to the signals and then give it back to me so I can finish it PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! ASAP!!!
