Interesting. U.P. had similar issues a few years back.

Fast money vs. money they have to earn. Old school way of making a buck vs. "I want it now, I need it now, gimme it NOW". Hey, it's a lot easier to take 100 tankers from point A to point B, than to have to shunt a bunch of those darn stupid freight cars all over. Oh, wait, was my new big screen on that manifest??? !*roll-laugh*!

Maybe it's a good time to buy a big rig. Hey, Eric, I'll be the west coast anchor, you be the Vegas area anchor. (you can drive stick, right?)

It's not BNSF around here. Tis U.P. country and Armour yellow. U.P.'s main is truly slow around here. I was just thinking the other day, it's time for a small intermodal yard here in Vegas, to deal with all the truck traffic between here and L.A.
I can drive a stick with a High and Low range, although I'm a bit rusty.

hey pay to fly me over there from oz and i can drive an aussie style roadtrain if you can get the permits
