You do realise of course that one of us that downloaded it can just load it back to you.

What kind of message does Windows give you when trying to read the drive? Can you hear or "feel" (by gently holding the drive) if the drive's spin motor is running? I suppose you can try and check the disk for errors; go back to Disk Management, right click on the drive, Properties> Tools tab> Error checking. See what Windows does.

Gentling holding the drive? That sounds a little creepy. *!greengrin!*

Sometimes is the only way to know if the drive is spinning.

Yeah I can feel the centrifugal force, I know it's on... but it was making the clicking noise so it's probably busted.

The computer is recognizing the drive is there, but saying there's a physical error getting it turned on.

I have the route installed, I am fully aware that I put it up on Mediafire :D, I'm more worried about the things I didn't get saved plus all of the assets I have to get back (I was missing some in the freeware folder I made).

I think the track and some other assets came from the C&O download which I can't seem to get because the C&O site is down as well...

Did you try and check the drive for errors yet, or is that the same message you get trying to do that? Clicking noises mean the "read/ write" heads are searching the "platters" trying to find the info and initialize the drive. Could be the heads or platters are damaged.

I read that the clicking meant the heads were banging into the stopper.

B24,
Haven't seen you about for some time - did you manage to resurrect your hardware? Would hate for your Bumbleberry project to fall off a cliff...

!*cheers*!

Oh sorry, I haven't really been playing Railworks much. I kinda lost interest after the HD crash. I couldn't get the thing working, and I can't get the version from mediafire working so this project is officially dead (unless someone else picks it up).

I'm not cut out for computer stuff...
