As much as I don't like the state of Illinois (for a multitude of reasons, especially Chicago), I feel you just gotta have at least one major route from there that includes some of the Chicago yards. Chicago is the rail hub of America after all.

I'm glad someone mentioned Canada. We tend to think of only USA routes when we hear North America (although RSC's track record has highly favored the USA and rightly so considering our population and network). Since west Canada is getting a route, something in the east would be preferable.

Mexico is also part of North America and probably has some cool routes scenically. I can just see the scenarios written for it. How long do you dare stop a train? Mexico has been notorious in the past for organized gangs that lie in wait beside mainlines when a train stops on a siding. They then pounce on it with bolt cutters and handheld blowtorches to rip off rail cars of consumer goods.....especially electronics. I saw it on 60 minutes I think, years ago. Not sure to what extent it still happens.

To complete a scenario, you have to make it to your destination with 80% of your freight left. !*roll-laugh*!

I for one am hoping for a completely steam-era route. I have nothing against the "x/y/z Pass" routes that have been coming out, but it's been getting a bit tiring driving an ES44 or an SD40 over a 140-Mile route with a 30 MPH speed limit. . .

C'mon Dovetail... *!mad!* !*!grrr!*! !*whack*!

Since they pulled it, does that mean it can be uploaded here on RWA, maybe? I'm guessing no...

And you would be guessing right. It's payware for all intents and purposes.

It could be something out of Left-Field like the Long Island Railroad. Could be something like a transit line, maybe part of the NYC subway. I'm just trying to think of routes with unusual signaling compared to the rest of North America.

I did not remember hearing many complaints about the GP-9 pack. I like it very much, but I did notice the end handrails were too high. What were the objections, otherwise?

The GP-9 pack is still available. The Chicago Yard route that was part of the pack was removed when they "re-released" the pack for TS2013.

I'd hope for the UP St. Louis- Bloomington Illinois line, plus CN/IC/BNSF would be able to be thrown in as well
