Northeast Corridor Revamp Open Beta 0.1

Hello for a quick intro my name is Stephen and I been a route builder for RW/TS for since the game was taken over by RSC a number of years ago.
My sole purpose for this game is to create and have dream assets that people in reality would not consider.

About the Route!
------------------

This is my second project in over three years, This was dubbed NEC Revamp in attempt to correct the orginial route made by RSC back in 2011 with new assets or
existing ones from other routes and freeware releases. This is includes but not limited too:

Track Changes & Fixes
Improved Textures & Lighting
Additions to Current Stations & Scenery
Completely Scenery Revamps
Bug Fixes etc...

What you will Need!
---------------------

For starters you will need the original Northeast Corrdior Payware route by RSC but you will also need:

Marias Pass
Stevens Pass
Pacific Surfliner
Donner Pass
Soo Line & Seattle Assets (Ivan's/eyein12 Assets)
Acela Express
Genesis P42DC Pack
Scalerail (Original)
Portland Terminal
RWA Community Project Assets (In Library)
Kent HighSpeed Line (London-Favershem Route)(Only Need the Class 395 for the scenario otherwise not required)
SMM Digital Assets (Can be Found in RWA Community Asset Project) (Located in RWA Library)

I will provide one of the main assets I will be using from here on out. Be sure to check my skydrive for addition files.
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
NOTE: BEFORE YOU START THE ROUTE BE SURE TOO:

1. Copy and paste:

RSC/MariasPass/RailNetwork/Track (Entire Track Folder) &
3DTrains/ScaleRail/RailNetwork/SR_Default (Entire Track Folder)

To...

RSC/NorthEastCorridor/RailNetwork/Track

Very important to do before going any further otherwise the tracks will not show up correctly on your route.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Keep in mind this is an open community beta project and you are free to make your own changes and submit it to me at

Mizterkewl@gmail.com

If your submissions are true to life and it works out for the route in longterm than we will add it for future releases.

Much like I posted in Route Design. The Doctor is in the building and I'm looking to cure some things with the nec. I started revamping the NEC to improve on such a great and accurate route.

Note: Be Sure to Download SAD Assets as well very important!!!!

Fix 0.2 2/24/14

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=D ... B1%2148776

This fix addresses:

Invisible tracks at the Philadephia 30th Street Station heading south.
Fixed Speed Limits after the "S" curve in Elizabeth,NJ to Metchen from 125 to 110.
Fixed Speed limits from Metchen to the "S" Curve after Metchen from 110 to 85.
***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Fixes:

Route Not Showing up

Simple fix, If you have the original NEC, create a clone of it but don't clone its scenerios. Once that is done copy and paste all of the contents from the NEC Revamp download folder into that new clone and overwrite when prompt. DO NOT OVERWRITE THE NEW Clone's "RouteProperties.xml" file with the NEC Revamp file I provided.

Now I am going to need help from this wonderful community to revamp and extend this route to Washington D.C.

Well now, you have a lot to do. Be sure to fix the grade transitions, places where you can see under the track, and better vegetation and texturing next to the track. Good luck! !!*ok*!!

New York Penn Station in the record Books. I just realized the smaller jersey stations aren't done correctly. Pure laziness on the developers part.

How is your frame rates after adding all those lights? I turn on cab lights of some engines and lose 10 FPS.

I'm getting 15-20 fps but I haven't added much yet lol. NYC Penn And Philadelphia takes the hardest hits.

Looking ahead, I'm going to go ahead and presume that SithMurcielago is going to want help when it comes time to extend the route south to DC. This is totally the kind of thing that the community can do. I'm still new to it, but I could probably develop some of the models for some stations and do some location photos. I'm around DC Union Station all the time, and it wouldn't be difficult for me to get out to Baltimore with a camera.
