I very highly doubt CSX would ever do heritage units. When they say "new visual ways", they may be referring to a new kind of commercial or artwork, or some kind of animation of sort.

But if CSX is doing heritages units, they're doing their part on their behalf for their railfans.

I know a secret! It's not Heritage units, but it would jive with new "visual" ways.

To put my speculation in the ring, Im going to say it's a new paint scheme. YN2, was 92-2002, YN3 has been around 12 years, so it may be time for another change.

They've had the YN3b paint (boxcar logo) for about 2 years now.

Ummm, adding a couple of brackets and two dots to the name is not really a new paint scheme. Plus, it's kind of redundant to have a boxcar logo on the side of a locomotive. Good for truck containers though.

They are announcing their new air freight division with the acquisition of Pan Am. The box car will have wings.
