Is there a way to clear up cloudy windows on some engines?

I've been wondering if there is a setting that can be changed, or is it an actual transparent texture???
Some engines like the Donner GP9s make me nutz because of "dirty" windows.

It's fog from them cooking dinner inside.

You would need to find the texture for the windows and adjust their alpha layer. The alpha layer is only black and white and shades of grey. When you find it and open it you will see the dirt marks from the windshield wipers, you have to edit that area to get rid of the dirt. White makes it solid and black completely see through. Shades of grey make the dirt marks. You might not want it completely black either, it may make the glass invisible. Play around with shades of grey.

Strangly enough, if it's snowing, they do look like they are a bit fogged up.

Yes it would require graphics software, Photoshop, Paintshop Pro and the like.

When I was a youngster and out train chasing in my first car, I once saw a Western Pacific engineer stopped at the Hearst siding south of Pleasanton CA, get out a bottle of glass cleaner and start cleaning his front windows. He was grumbling about how the service personnel back at the Oakland yard should have done it and something about the materials coming out of his own pocket.
