Southern Railway RS3

Unread postby harryadkins » Sun Dec 29, 2013 10:19 pm

My latest project is a Southern Railway RS3 (yes, I know the number is incorrect). The sides have gone pretty well, but I've hit a bump with the ends. Can someone give me some help as to how to create the end stripes? I'll be glad to send you a photoshop file and give you credit.

Harry

What's wrong with your stripes other than they are going the wrong way?Is this on Dick Cowen's RS3?

Wanted to add, make sure you get the paint kit for it. It really helps.

What's up with the end stripes? If they're going the wrong way, I just select the set in photoshop and vertically flip them. In some cases units have much thicker stripes, though. For those, I usually use the geometry tools to draw new ones.

Let me know if you need a little more help & what they should look like. I can probably dig up a photoshop file that has something similar.

Thanks,
Diego

Thanks Bob. It's not the footboard stripes, it's the cowl nose.
