You can add me to that list. I have no use for Facebook.

I just don't understand people so willing to sacrifice their privacy and security just so they can tell a friend (or so they think that's all they're telling) about the new hair growing out of the mole on their back. Just makes no sense to me. !*don-know!*
You can't do anything there without opening up your computer, and all its contents to it (OK! I'm exaggerating just a little, but you get my drift). !*!grrr!*!

RailSimulator.com’s Winter to Spring Showcase! It's here! More info soon. !*YAAA*!

EDIT:

Only very few US content announced in this newsletter *!sad!*

SD70 Volume 2
Scheduled for release on 28 January
The SD70ACe diesel locomotive will be available in the striking BNSF livery, plus Norfolk Southern and Canadian National liveries. This add-on also includes new SD70 variants in the form of the SD70M-2, featuring DC motors rather than the AC motors found in the SD70ACe, and the SD70 MAC.

Portland Yard
Sceduled for release on 25 March
This route takes RailWorks 2 drivers to a busy US port city with plenty of freight operations to keep you on your toes. Based on the yard at Portland, Maine, this route will give you the chance to do some serious switching, whether you’re a steam or diesel fan. You can even take your train down to the waterfront and visit the old steam-era roundhouse. With new trains included, Portland Yard will have lots going on and will keep you occupied for many hours.

I sure do hope there will be more US stuff in this period. The UK stuff is nice anyway. !!*ok*!! !*salute*!

Just saw the F40ph in tiny text on my PC in the header of the newsletter. Seriously?

I'm not usually one to stomp my feet and complain, but for U.S. customers this newsletter is terrible. 4 new locos "showcased" for UK, 3 new routes "showcased" for the UK. The U.S. stuff showcased is a SD70 Variant and a Yard in Maine. There is nothing of substance for us to anticipate. The fact the F40PH news is written in text isn't very encouraging.

Yeah a bit disappointing for US *!!wink!!*
I'm also very nterested in that UK stuff, but a bit more info on US dlcs would have been nice.

(Congratulations to your 300th post styckx! !*cheers*! )

EDIT:
Statement of Paul Jackson, CEO of Railsimulator.com (Facebook): "Before anyone panic's, I just realised that as the newsletter only goes as far as April it doesn't mention the NEC... its still May:-)"

I don't get it. The yard is Maine will be great for the fans of switching puzzles but it's not a "OMG OMG OMG OMG I CAN"T WAIT FOR THAT" addition to the game. Either is the SD70 pack and I pray to god the SD70 isn't the new SD40 and have a bizzillion derivative packs of it.

Part of me feels this is due in part to the underwelming acceptance the loudest mouths in the U.S. community have over this game. It's sad, UKTS folks are drooling at all the new toys they have coming for them and we're the kids who only got cloths and a football for Christmas staring aimlessly under the tree hoping we might have missed the "big gift".
