Village water towers.

Unread postby RAILSOHIO » Mon Oct 21, 2013 2:17 pm

I have done searches, but can not find a small town water tower anywhere. (Cylindrical ,not round) The kind you see in Chester's Mills in the beginning of "Under The Dome",for example. Any ideas?

Modern, and still fairly large, like this one?

I believe I have come across water towers of various design while browsing the European Railworks communities' filestores, but cannot remember where. Sorry.

Yes the "smiley" one is typical,or was typical as many have been replaced at this point. That would be a great addition to RW,if none exist.

At this point 86 views. That confirms there are no water towers ,so I at least know I have not overlooked any.

Post a request over at D/L . Maybe Jon or one of our other scenery guys can make one up. It doesn't seem like a real complicated shape. (what do I know). *!rolleyes!*

I have not downloaded your route. I take it these are packaged with the other assets in the D/L? In the back of my mind,I thought I had seen a similar tower in a screenshot, maybe that's the one.

Here is the checkered one. They are in the NERW assets under John Lippai\NS New River Districts\scenery\structures wt4_chekered and other is what you are looking for.

I do have some of John's assets, but not the towers,it seems.. I may use the small one as a stand-in,as those are more modern municipal towers. I appreciate everyone's effort's. Thanks!
