Any freight action on the Surfliner route? From todays RSC Facebook post:

A closer look at Pacific Surfliner® LA – San Diego: The largest freight yard along the route is Hobart Yard, which is 1.8 miles long and heavy with intermodal traffic and container cranes. Freight in this area is prolific and runs day and night.

The typical error made regarding loading cranes does not lie in the realism of their appearance; rather, it's the inaccuracy of their placement in regard to tracks and the fact that the containers they handle appear from and vanish into thin air. Scenario writers can resolve the latter problem by placing static containers in the pick-up/drop-off zone, but no matter how realistic the crane itself, improper placement renders it useless.

Since I already discussed this ridiculous situation at length in another thread, I'll just offer a link here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=7126 .

Looks like full brights with ditch lights off. Dim lights don't usually flare ANY lens.

A closer look at Pacific Surfliner® LA – San Diego: After Fullerton is the impressive landmark of Angel Stadium, home to baseball’s Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Angels play in the Western Division of Major League Baseball’s American League, and won the World Series in 2002 against the San Francisco Giants.

but it was on the awful default es44ac. this is done on the new high quality es44dc which is far better than default. RSC should just replace the default ES44 with this newer one like they did with the SD40-2.

This route and the equipment look great! I too might have to revisit my moratorium on buying RSC DLC but I won't buy this at full price, I'll wait for a sale. At the very least it will be worth it for the cab cars!

I'm going to buy it the minute it comes out because it looks great and RSC has really stepped up their game lately and I want to support them.

I'm going to get this. But I hope they bring out the other company trains like Metrolink as DLC and not do what the did with the NEC leave it with half the stock that runs along the line missing.
