That's what I want to hear! Is that stuff for 2014 or for 2015? !**conf**!

In the article he mentioned this...

Our Quick Drive feature, introduced in TS2013, brought the ability for players to quickly and easily choose any journey on a route that they wish. While you drive you will see random (but appropriate) wagons placed in yards and meet random trains coming in the other direction.

Is this new for 2014? I don't ever recall seeing opposing traffic in the current 2013's quick drive.

Only certain routes currently support quick drive AI for some reason, hopefully in 2014 they will be fixed.

It's because it takes a lot of work (and time) to set it up for each route.

Seems its usually in the morning, for me in recent years for mountain time its 10am but this all depends on how the guys at steam feel that day.

Button down the hatches Mr. Squidward. *!lol!*

I'm just going to stay away from
A. Trainsim
B. UKTS
C. Steam TS2014 forum
D. RSC's Facebook

I don't think it will be bad though. They could get it right this time. I'm also curious what kind of performance tweaks is in there.
"If you really needed a diesel locomotive right away, then go ahead and order a ALCO. But if you could wait for real quality, then go for an EMD or a GE".

I'm not one of those who "can't wait" for the new version to arrive -- especially since that's a rather ridiculous statement anyway. I will state for the record that I am absolutely, positively, sick and tired of and fed up with this old version.

Just today, I hit another completely inexplicable, ridiculous TS2013 brick wall. I've been working on a new scenario for weeks and the work has been going fairly smoothly. This scenario, set in the Old Oak Yards area of the "Great Western Mainline" (one of those routes that changed names for no apparent reason when TS2013 arrived), begins at 6:15 AM and runs a little over an hour. Suddenly, this afternoon, when the scenario clock reached 07:12:30, TS froze and the condition affected my entire computer. Only the Task Manager allowed me to escape this RSC-sponsored madness.

I verified the cache, completely rebooted the computer, launched TS2013, and restarted the scenario from the last available save point. At 07:12:30 on the scenario clock, the same freeze occurred! **!!bang!!** !*hp*!

Thank goodness TS2013 goes to its grave tomorrow. My fingers are crossed for TS2014 to be a ... well ... less cursed simulator.

probably due to something triggering at that time that screws something up and is just one of those bad luck moments.

I'm wondering if 2014 will fix the crashing issues that people talk about in the editor that has them having to save and backup frequently or they lose their progress made. !*don-know!*

My thought, I will deal with it when the download comes. I already backed up to my external HD.
