My Most Epic RW FAIL

Unread postby Noel » Sun Sep 15, 2013 1:39 pm

Ok. I just had the biggest fail in RW of my life. **!!bang!!**

On my CTT Route, I had worked on the town for more than 12 hours. This morning, when I started RW, I had forgotten I had set the detail level to lowest.

When I loaded up the route, I couldn't see the 10 hours of work I put into the town. I thought it was corrupt, so I decided to load up my backup.

I loaded it into the game, and the same thing was happening. So I erased the whole town, or what I thought was left of it, and re-laid the track. And that took about 4 hours.

So, I decided to see if I could turn up my graphics. I go in, and see that it is on lowest detail. I started to think,"Could that be the reason I couldn't see the town?".

I finally realized it, and I had already overwritten the original and my backup. GOD, I feel so stupid for doing that. !*not-ok*!

The instability of RW in some circumstances does lead you to instantly suspect the worst. I lost all the track yesterday in a route. With the SBHH errors I have gotten I just decided to delete and move on. But maybe, it was my fault. I'll never know.....

Aw man.. I know how you feel ! Been there. Take some time away from building and run some workshop scenarios.
