Unread postby Hotwheels2009 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 9:30 am

Hi all started out yesterday to get my feet weet with the route building within Railworks.

This is the very very early stages .. still getting used to the editor and all its possibilitys.

Though here are a few shots taken from a Lodge quite famous around that part .

See if any get some ideas as to where it may be.

Will be posting more shots of progress as i get used to things.

looks good, but that bridge crossing the tracks is way too low for doubblestack intermodal. someone should make one that is at a good height.

Whoohoo!!!

!!*ok*!! It is immediately recognizable as Essex, even without seeing much of the tracks and with only basic scenery. This is splendid news that you are tackling a portion of Marias Pass.

I'm wishing you best of luck!

Cheers!

I've ridden the Empire Builder over that pass twice, once in 1958, and recently on Amtrak. Looking very nice.

Unfortunatly the real bare work at essex was lost due to a Hard disk fault.

Though not to worry iam at it still and again only had started out differently, and at Whitefish Montana.

More will be added as i make some more progress.

Beta testing shall not be for awhile . though ill make sure to annouce it when ive got a decent few miles of trackage laid out.

Cheers Kev
