There's a lot more to do on the outside before I get to the cab controls. I think I'll continue with the reversing gear, then the cab windows and adornments, then the firebox with all the plugs, nuts and bolts, and the supports that allow it rest on the trailing truck.

Well, I'm trying to do as much as possible before going on holiday for a month. In September, I'll pick up where I left off.

Well that's nice Mike hope you enjoy your holiday.

PS the wait is what's going to drive us mad.

Mike I want to discuss something before you go. I'll get a line out to you tomorrow.

Seriously mate, so you should. being a beta tester should not be seen as a ticket to get free software, it should be seen as an individual playing their part in bringing somebody else's project to release. The money paid goes to a good cause, in this instance to Mike, in other instances preservation societies or RSC towards future releases. In the case of the D&SNG route from Rick at GTrax, I provided resource materials, visited the RR, provided photos, beta tested the route prior to release and provided feedback regarding vegetation issues and static scenery placements etc and when it was released, still paid for a version. We should be grateful that there are those prepared to create for the US market, which is a pale imitation of those in the UK, we all have to play a part if we can.

My **!!2cents!!**

!*cheers*!
