Just finished Empties to Granite. AWESOME! Thanks Pschlik and Marc! (Marc for idea) Anyway I would like to suggest an SP local job in the 80s. With a GP9 or SW1500 from Donner pass perhaps? something out of roseville. Just dont use those silly cars from donner pass assets. Can you use cars from Kuju default and/or sherman hill that look decent? Lots of switches to throw manually, and thats realistic if you ask me, *!!thnx!!*

Just a little announcement....
It's a little past noon and it's a Thursday, the Steam sale probably won't start today by now. Next thing to see for is the results of this month's screenshot competition. Hopefully I have the Marias Pass by the end of the weekend. Valve is being very cruel with the sale thing, it started in July last year, too! Ugh, oh well *!sad!*

Well, got the Marias Pass, for the record :P

I've noticed a huge decline in popularity among my scenarios past my first 3, it might be because it seems tat every scenario since then that someone gets an AI crash. The problem is that I can't get these crashes to happen, so I can't try to fix them and know when they are truly fixed. Any thoughts, because this quality flaw that I can't prevent or fix that happens in so many scenarios could spell the end of PSC.

Alright, I'm going to be heading off to camp later today, and I'll be gone all week, so I won't be able to do anything. !!**sorry**!! Next scenario will be next week.

And yet, numerous scenarios include lots of successful AI traffic. Granted, Artificial Intelligence remains an oxymoron, similar to Military Intelligence, but I've had a good deal of success with including AI traffic in my scenarios. There's only one scenario in my "workshop" in which I'm still trying to subdue an AI train, but it's a very complex AI operation (an engine makes three freight wagon pick-ups, finishes its run on a yard siding, and is then picked up whole by the player train) and I may just be asking too much. Most of the time, patience, persistence, and compromise lead to successful AI runs, in my experience.

Since I'm back, the next scenario will be coming. As in, when TS2014 comes...

Thought I'd share this announcement on my group here for info about that scenario situation and TS2014.
New Features Announced for TS2014
AUGUST 13TH, 2013 - PSCHLIK
Well, some new features were announced for TS2014 today related to scenarios and content sharing. RSC plans to allow routes to be uploaded to the workshop, and just about anything to be on the Steam Marketplace. This will give more for everyone to use on the Workshop for route and scenario making. There are also features related directly to scenarios, as in, players can make their own career scenarios, which will go well with the new career system coming, and also features like the HSC had with unlocking scenarios by playing the ones before them in order. Hopefully, with all this attention to scenarios, the AI gets optimized for TS2014. So, I'll be making scenarios again the time TS2014 comes around, just need to wait and see until then.

So, I'll be back with TS2014 !!*ok*!!

Nice to hear that!

I think this was already possible by manually editing the scenario xml.
Now it will be made available in the scenario editor.

From earlier experience in game development, so-called "secret" features are usually just new features that the developers use manually because they don't have time to update the dev tools.
