Speaking of problems, all my stuff works fine, except the BNSF GP38-2. I don't think it actually installed, but it still appears on my collection screen. **!!bang!!** **!!bang!!** *!sad!*

If I'm not mistaken I think RSC did not add Gp38-2 for the Maria Pass if you're correct on that subject.

Finally got into the store without too much of a wait, about 7pm Pacific time. I got:
SD45
Big Boy
Marias Pass

Download was painfully slow at around 30Kbps. I usually get over 600Kbps. Haven't checked to see if it's all there or not, busy with work.

Yep, that's what's going on with mine as well. They're added to my list of DLC, added to my collection screen as owned, but I cant select them. I've tried several verify caches to no avail. Just tried deleting local content and re-installing and they're still not there.

So....now what? !*don-know!* Seems like its not a server issue because I've downloaded other things (TS2013 to re-install, workshop scenarios, etc) Give it till the end of today before I contact Steam. Worst case scenario I guess I open a dispute with my credit card company. Never had an issue like this before. It's my opinion that RSC should seriously consider a different distribution platform; steam is sliding downhill.

Exact same problem here, I'm going to begin battling it out with support as soon as verifying the files doesn't work. *!twisted!*

I always get 1.2mb's to 1.4. Wonder why it varies so much. I'll consider myself lucky.

I've just told RSC about the GP38. They already knew that the Connie isn't downloading for some people, but they didn't know about the GP38. It's a Steam problem, as usual.

You know you guys need a little patience. You have all stated how slow the server is because of massive amounts of sales. Some of you could barely get anything ordered. Just play with something else until it all comes together for you. Reinstalling and verifying the cache is not helping, all it is doing is slowing the system down even further. All your doing now is making yourselves sick. If you got to buy it, it will be along as the system processes its orders. You wont be ripped off.

Right you are. !*salute*! I'm just diappointed in Steam for their apparent lack of planning for the sale. But I'm sure a little hassle might be worth 60-80% off! As long as they make things right eventually.

Just for an FYI for those who might be reading this - the two DLC's that failed to download for me are the PRR RS11 and the AT&N Consolidation. So, you may want to avoid these two for the time being as well (or maybe it will work for you? Who knows.)

And I agree - if you have these issues DONT try to verify cache - its not going to help, and it's just going compound the issue.

I told them earlier today about the Consolidation and the GP38 - they already knew about the Connie but not the Geep. I'll tell them about the PRR RS11 too. There's not much RSC can do at the moment except send emails to Valve Steam and wait for a reply.

You can still go ahead and purchase the items now ;) (they will turn up in your assets folder eventually).

Tread carefully with a credit card dispute. Steam has been known to retaliate. Read up on the subject.

To the rest of you...... buy stuff on the Steam sale, but download later or even download it after the sale is over. Just as long as you purchase the item at it's sale price..... you are all good. No need to download it right away during the Steam sale mayhem. !!howdy!!

I continue to get an error message when trying to purchase the Donner Pass route. I will try again later (8 or 9 P.M.) when business dies down for the day. !!*ok*!!
