Hi,

Ooh, nice! Thanks! It's great to see Dick's heavyweights getting some new coats of paint. Your work is much appreciated!

No, I ask for a set of heavyweight cars, like those that were used on The George Washington and other pre-streamline C&O passenger trains.

No doubt some of the heavyweight head-end equipment and diners were repainted in the Chessie livery to match the steamlined coaches, Pullmans etc. after WWII.

I thought the George Washington was painted in royal blue with gold trim instead of drab pullman green.

Kanawha

I think I recall that the pre-modern livery of "The George Washington" passenger cars set was Pullman Green with Gold(Yellow) Lettering. When C&O placed the orders for the brand-new SL passenger cars for the name trains, the old heavy weight RPO, Baggage and other revenue rolling stock still in service with useful years in them were repainted to match the Blue-Yellow-Gray color scheme of the newly delivered PS and Budd cars. The older HW cars went into MOW service as Camp and Tool Cars.

Man, I can't wait for the Southern "Crescent" Steam Train set. What about a brace of E9 diesels as well to pull the streamliner.

We're workin on your other one Buzz. Talked me into it. It's not a walk in the park on these Britkits. :D Almost done. Finish tender striping and name and change the numbers to gold.
I guess you got the K4 to work or it's trick photography.
