It appears that you need Ottos scail rail from the looks of things. I have no idea where to get it from at this time since it's not listed on his D/L page right now. However I have them in my assets so if no one posts a link today when I get home tonight I'll pack these up and upload them to a ftp site. I'll post the link here when I get it done. Hopefully that should fix everyone's track problems. As far as the roads, I still don't see what might be missing to some folks.

ottos crap is in most of the routes on his site. But also Tori pony modified some of the SR files, so it could be assets from the C&O.

The update build of Ann Arbor Route referenced above completely shuts down my RW. I ended up having to completely removing the Ann Arbor directory from my Content folder - RW_Tools gave me the coded numeric name for its directory - to get RW to even run again. I hope that the next update has a complete load of all the route and its assets. I look forward to experiencing this route for myself.

Unzip this and install these three Folders next to the three you list and let's see what happens.

With the release of this route, can we PLEEEEEAAAAAAASE get some Grand Trunk Western reskins for the GP38-2, GP40 and SD40-2? I have been waiting forever for some GTW loco's to be released and still no dice. Hope someone can make this request into reality.

Buzz I finally found the problem with me frogs looking all dumb. I needed the Cajon Pass Scalerail Beta on 3dtrains.

I'm also adding track roughness for the whole route.

Hey guys,

I'm somewhat new here to the forums but no stranger to Railworks. I recently downloaded this route and seeing from what I can, it is a well developed route. But, I do have a problem... When I installed the route and went to make a scenario I looked at the sky and it is black, and I mean completely black.. I tried to fiddle with a few things and google some stuff but that just made it worse (luckily I backup). But I couldn't figure out or understand what went wrong. So if someone could shed some light on my small problem that would be great. If a screenshot is needed I will take one to tomorrow seeing that I am on my Iphone and not at my desktop...

Thanks,
-Ryan R.

There is one diamond that only has signals along the line. I believe its supposed to be like that

Ryan, what is your in game graphics detail level set at? Should be on 10. There are a few other posts around about black sky, I'll give a hunt later on (search by thread title doesn't always work, folks name threads strangely.)

Hey Chris,

Yeah I went in to check the other day and my graphics are maxed out beside my anti aliasing but, that shouldn't be a problem I hope... But yeah I'm still looking for a fix but, for now I'll just run something else. Shame though, I could see some EJ&E running all over this route. *!rolleyes!*

Thanks,

If you have an ATI video board you need to go into the CCC and changed ANTI ALIASING to Application COntrolled. If you sky is black the ground should also be white because of this.

Hi Bob,

I do not believe I have that or do not fully understand what that is. But, my ground textures are fine for the most part. It seems like it only happens in this route and the NS district one. Every other third party route I have is working up to par with no sky or ground issues.

Well also seeing that I am having the same issues as the NS district route, do you think that the issue with this route ties in with NS district one as well?

I feel like I am missing a asset or one may be faulty. I think though it might be the sky textures he used which, if I am right is not a RS2013 built-in.

Thanks,
-Ryan R.

What scenario are you trying to run? Did you try making your own free roam scenario? Whoever made the scenario probably used payware sky textures. (from HSC, SH, etc.)
