nvidia normal map plugin

Unread postby dogrokket » Tue Aug 20, 2013 1:49 pm

I just downloaded the nvidia normal map pluggin (64bit) to PS 7. The file shows up in the adobe ps filters folder, but it will not show in the program under the filter list. After some searching, I have heard that this plugin won't work with Vista 64, which I am running on my laptop. Anyone know anything about this? I am trying to find a suitable substitute and found a program called xNormal. It's been installing for the last 20 minutes (yikes)!

I couldn't get that plug-in to work either.

Try Crazybump instead.

It's working for me on win 7 x64 fwiw. but I am hosting the 32 bit version of the plugin within an old 32 bit photoshop cs2. Might be worth making sure your host app and plugin agree (32 vs 64bit).
