Trucks -Sideframes

Hellow Again All
My latest project trying to repaint loco trucks other than black with no luck
this base model I'm using is G-Trax GP40 series
I don't seem to be able to get away from the default once back in the sim
using gimp for the repainting seems easy enough & looks great whiles there.
The trucks seem to have a pattern of dots to it. unlike the GP38s I've repanited without issue
This GP40 however no matter the combo I try once in the sim looks like all the dots are colored
giving the look of zebra stripes rather than becoming a solid color...
Surely could use a helping hand. Sending some snapshots which may be a better visual
rather than my ramblings...Enjoy!...

Well discovered my issue & how to fix today..
appears the trucks for this model were DTX1 unlike DTX3 like most I've worked with thus far
once I saved as DTX1 the troublesome pattern went away & colors/texture look great
Here's a quik snapshot of what they look like corrected DXT1
project's moving along nicely once again... next step loose the MEC stencil
