Need a Truck?

I am trying to build a Whitcomb 44 Tonne Switcher. Since it will be quiet a bit different than the GE version which I think RSC is doing.

I am having a very difficult time finding a close up of the GSC cast truck used on these units. Especially the journal area.
I have a good idea about what the frame looks like but the details is my problem.

This is about the best picture of the truck that I can find

Anyone have any ideas where I might find some good closeups of these trucks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John

The South Carolina Railroad Museum (Winnsboro) has several ex-Army and industrial locos. I think I remember seeing trucks like the one you posted. If you would like, I can drive up there and get some photos. Check out this website and see if there's anything that interests you.

Hi Harry:

Thanks for the offer but I did not see any Whitcomb's there. They had a few GE's though.

Saved you a trip.

Again thanks for the offer.
