DDS problems
Posted: Fri Mar 30, 2012 5:33 pmI haven't tried painting anything since 2012 upgrade. My DDS2 converter seems to be converting things and changing stuff that isn't changed. I uninstalled and re-installed it but that didn't seem to change anything. Anybody have any suggestions. I tried loading the GIMP plug-in but of course the dern thing won't install. Reading about it I have about ten thousand people with the same problem there. Any suggestions from you guys?
I'm fairly sure the problem is there somewhere because I converted the DDS to a JPEG and back without even opening it in GIMP or PSP and it still turned my cab top white along with a few other things. This is on Dick's Prairie which I know hasn't been optimized for 2012 either so that might be a issue.
