Does anyone here know where Mr. Brindley hangs about?

I'm asking, because his fine GP7 and GP15 models need a bit of touch-up for the new TS2012 release. The softshade on the ground shows as a solid rectangle, and the headlight glow patch on the GP7 is really jarring. If anyone knows how to contact him, please refer him here.

He is a very busy guy atm, I'm sure he'll update them if he gets time.

I certainly hope so, his models fill a notch for us old timers. I'd hope he readdresses the cabside logo item on his GP15 and uses the new logo patch system.

Are you hinting at something Adam? Such as Mr. Brindley making locomotives for RSC? *!!wink!!*

I knew that, just saying that he's making new locomotives for RSC meaning possibly new locomotives for the new Donner Pass. *!!wink!!*

The softshade issue is something to do with the original 3DC export - I've added the entire material section from a working one and nothing changed. Thankfully you can just alpha it out anyway - and I suspect do exactly the same for the headlight glow.

I've succeeded in eliminating the softshade issue on the GP15-1 and have added the 2012 lights to it. PapaExpress has created a ditchlight child for the model that looks great.

I was able to do the same softshade fix on the GP7, but for the life of me cannot find the lightfan graphic anywhere. One workaround was to set the display resolution so high it vanished, but some will still see it until I find the source for it.
