In the next month or so, I will go in for right shoulder joint replacement surgery. Since I am terminally right handed, I will be out of commission for about 7-8 weeks before I can be back to the painting.
I have a few items to finish, my beloved SP&S F7s for Train 1/2, and some other prior requests as time permits.
Being one who suffers from constant pain and illness, I feel for ya Mike. I broke a shroulder in a helicopter crash in 73 and it pains now more than ever. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope things turn out for the best.
Ouchie! at least the minimal moving of your hand with the mouse is going to be reasonable therapy! ( although as a fellow member of the rebuilt joint club, I can tell you they never let me keep it still from the moment I left theatre... ). All the best!
Having nursed a friend through shoulder surgery, I do not envy you; it's a more painful and bothersome surgery than one might expect. Take it easy, get well and back to the workbench soon!
OK, the surgery was postponed to mid-September, so I get the summer to do as I wish. I want to get this done and get onto the recovery phase so I can get back to normal.
Finally! After all of the folderol and moving of goal posts, my surgery is scheduled for the 27th of this month. I am looking forward to finally being pain free,
I'm having the wife bring my iPad after I'm out of recovery, and the hospital has wi-fi, so I'll post as soon as I can. (no, I'm not hooked on the 'net )
