Help Needed for future repaints

Unread postby QcRail » Fri Oct 13, 2023 2:11 pm

Hi all,

As previously announced the Marias Pass TTX90-flatcar and its many semi-trailers is progressing well, I have about finished 15 various trucking companies having for each company 3 options : 1) one TOFC trailer, 2) double TOFC trailers and 3) mixed, double TOFC trailers. !!*ok*!!

CAN ANYONE HELP ME, with :
I need to contact the asset creator known under «90000ft» and his specific asset folder is «New England\Scenery\Equipment». It's where all is semi-trailers are housed. I need is permission to use and distribute the 3d model file(.GeoPcDx) for the semi-trailers (specifically the reefer trailer with its frontal cooling unit). I do not know if, the said person, is active on not; none of my searches have been successful.

Other hint, expl. for the Knight reefer the ID tag is : NTF - Semi-Trailer 45' (Knight) ... for:
Knight 53Reefer.jpg

Other advantage: each side of the trailer is indivisually mapped, needed for most trucking co. that do not place its logo dead-on center.

Any help will be appreciaited, Bernard

Can you distribute without the .Geo file and we can copy/paste them over?

Sad for the news, but we are getting there (At least I am !!jabber!! )

I had to do extensive alterations to the original .GeoPCDx trailer model concerning size and proportions in order to fit two trailers on any 90ft flatcar (including the one within the RSC MariasPass). The semi-trailers used on Marias Pass is much shorter than the NFT trailer (I'm guessing it to be close to 40ft) and one can only texture one side, not 2 indivisual and independant sides. **!!bang!!**

With these few, but important parameters, I have bunches the first series of semi-trailers (pack01, to include at least 14 trucking companies) to the following asset : QcRail\Scenery\Vehicules\TOFC_45ft_Trailers\...

... Here is a sample for ACE Hardware (with 2 variant graphic options)
ACE Hardware double trailers.jpg

Since I'm repackaging my previous created repaints, it will take a while to update Pack01 !*hp*!

Pack01 is well unto 70% WIP and lots, lots of Photoshop hours, but ...

To give you an update and a surprise, I'm preparing in this first pack 14 trucking and logostic companies, some with a retro-logo and others with its contemporary logo; The surprise is to have a back to the future in the world of Model Railroad wizth the famed «Croocked Mountain Lines» - this is what I have created !!*ok*!!

Patience, I'm getting there !*YAAA*! , QcRail
