!*YAAA*! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*!

That's pretty much all there is to say about this.

Just so people know why I'm obsessed with the Boston and Maine, well before I was born the B&M mainline went right through the middle of my town. The highway my former highschool is now on was once double track, and there are still signs of the railroad in some places, like the remnants of bridge piers where the Portsmouth, Kittery & York RR streetcars went over the B&M and a turntable by the side of the road. The B&M is sort of my hometown railroad, even though the tracks were torn up in the late 50's and by the time I was born the B&M had already been eaten by Guilford (now Pan-Am).

But, I'd be lying if I said I didn't really want to do Kodachrome anyway.

Well if I'm gonna do one, might as do all 3:

I think the GP9 will be the most repainted U.S. loco in Railworks history.

Nope gave up on it.. Curves are my worst enemy. ATSF seems to have mastered them..

Actually, I'm pretty bad at curves too. So I cheated a little. Since the Kodachrome scheme uses the same curves as the ATSF Warbonnet scheme, I simply took Derek's ATSF GP9 and used the select by color tool in GIMP to trace an outline that I was able to transfer onto my repaint. As you can see, it worked pretty well.

Boston And Maine is coming along well. But I can't seem to find any good reference pictures for the font used on the side of the cab. So far, this is my best guess:

I also can't find shots that show the steps behind the cab in good detail:

Can anyone help? !*don-know!*

I now this isn't what you're looking for but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Found at this site: http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/dr1609.htm
I didn't see anything about copyright on that page. *!!wink!!*

There's a file in the library here called 500 Fonts. http://railworksamerica.com/FileLibrary ... -2011.html
You can probably find something pretty close in one of them.

I already have the 500 fonts download. Luckily one of those pictures that Eric posted has the best side shot of the cab I've seen so I'll keep going through them and see if anything looks a little closer.
