This is a real long shot, but I've got to ask. Is there a way to alpha out geometry? On the RSC SD75 pack flat car, I would like to get rid of the middle trailer hitch without having to hack the geo file itself. I know there are tunnel decals that can alpha out scenery. Could something similar be done, like a box child object and place it over the trailer to make it disappear? It would be nice to get rid that extra trailer hitch with placing twin 45' trailers on the flatcar. But it isn't the end of the world either. This is one of those times that I wish RSC had made those hitches as child objects with both raised and lowered positions.
