use fittings from another locomotive to make a more accurate, representational model. Finds out that yes, you can use a GP9 snow plow on an F7 and orient it properly at the front ( and it looks perfect for the job), BUT the rear air hoses are sticking out the back about 3 or so feet, and just hanging in the air. Is it possible, by changing some value in the matrix fields (as you do for fore and aft, up and down) to shorten the child without distorting it? If so, it would look good to have the rear hoses on the F7.
BTW, a GP9 winterizing hatch does fit an F7 with some orientation changes.
Also, if you folks haven't figured it out yet, I'm doing my best to build real models, not just repaints of the default stuff. Mr. Cowen has included a lot of special fittings to use, and it's been fun learning to use them.
